Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Payroll Business Analyst to immediately join one of our local state agencies supporting their accounting/payroll functions across the state. This individual will be responsible for performing application or functional production support tasks for Peoplesoft 9.2 system, including:
working with end users to resolve payroll help desk tickets
researching payroll related issues
responding to State Payroll Operations (SPO) questions and issues
implementing and testing tax updates
assisting the Training team with training material updates
writing functional design documents for new enhancement
testing system changes performed by the development team
Resource must be well versed in PeopleSoft v9.2 Payroll module (primary skill required) and experienced in the standard system development life cycle, including design, development and testing of PeopleSoft objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversion programs, Extensions/Modifications) to meet the Commonwealth of Virginia's business requirements. The Payroll Business Analyst will report to a team lead and is expected to provide detailed, accurate, and timely status of tasks, issues, and help desk tickets being worked.
Skills and Requirements
10+ years of BA experience specifically within "Core HR" and "Payroll" sectors of "HCM".
10+ years of experience working with Peoplesoft (v 9.2)
Ability to read SQL queries and PeopleCode
Ability to document appropriate system test scenarios
Ability to develop a wide-range of communications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience working with ticketing systems and providing phone support null
