Position Summary: Thermo Fisher Scientific is looking for an experienced payroll analyst to participate in and be responsible for the preparation and processing of the weekly and bi-weekly payrolls using ADP GlobalView and Workday.
Coordinate processes to accurately compensate new hires, terminations and salary changes.
Process exception items such as commissions, bonus payments and stock options.
Coordinates and consolidates payroll files for upload to the payroll software.
Compare data within ADP GlobalView and Workday.
Researches and prepares responses to employee payroll questions.
Analyzes payroll data to produce accurate and timely paychecks.
Reviews, prepares, and processes payroll.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Key Requirements:
3+ years of experience in Payroll processing.
Prior experience with ADP systems and Workday.
Associate's degree or equivalent work experience required.
Experience maintaining confidentiality and data privacy.
Ability to be detail oriented and exhibit accuracy while working in a fast paced environment.
Have effective interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
Proficiency in system/PC applications (Excel and Word).
Excellent customer service skills and strong analytical ability.
Desired Qualifications:
Payroll Certification CPP or FPC.
Highly ethical, analytical, team-oriented, and inquisitive.
Experience in large multi-state payroll environment.
