About the Role
We are looking for a Cash Operations Manager who will work within the LatAm Payment Operations team. This person will support the analysis and improvement of cash payment-related processes and collections across LOBs.
This is a meaningful role aimed at optimizing Ops processes for Cash Management activities across LatAm. This role calls for a combination of problem-solving, quantitative analysis, diligent responsibility, and interpersonal ability to work with other teams to improve customer experience and business metrics.
The role works together with other Ops and Payments POCs in LATAM, as well as Product stakeholders to ensure a flawless cash experience for all users across Uber.
What You'll Do
Build Processes for Cash Operations - Work in all activities and processes necessary to enable cash operations in Uber from an Operations perspectiveProcess Documentation - Map existing processes and identify areas of improvement as well as supporting the execution of these processes to help new initiativesAnalytics - Analysis of cash-related metrics and user behavior to accurately act towards improvement in Collections and Cash processesProduct Improvement - Identify common struggles and consolidate information accordingly for building a case for product improvementsBe owner - Take ownership of our Uber Payments growth in LATAM and do everything you can to support and enhance the quality of our services with a specific focus on the UX of cash users. We expect you to be proactive and resourceful in order to remove road blockers and find creative solutions
Basic Qualifications
3 years of work experience in strategy, operations, analytics, business development, or a variety of other specialty roles with demonstrated ability in quantitative fieldsEnglish proficiency is required as the role needs to connect with POC's outside of LatAm.Problem-solving - Being able to tackle issues that involve people, things, and processes by using logic, common sense, and data. Identifying the root cause of a problem as opposed to focusing on the symptomsAbility to make data-driven decisions and strategize with clear steps to solve complex problems in which business data is involved. Proven experience with quantitative data analysis is required.Experience with data storytelling: translating data insights into business intelligence with a course of actionAbility to take initiative in a constantly evolving work environment while maintaining flexibility, and a collaborative demeanor, to drive analysis and get to conclusionsGood communication skills that will allow you to clearly explain your work with our partners (technical and non-technical backgrounds)Experience creating and optimizing processes
