As the Manager of Payment Relations, you will play a pivotal role in fostering and managing relationships with major card schemes, ensuring our organization's compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to optimize our engagement with card schemes, drive business growth, and enhance the overall effectiveness of our payment solutions.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within major card schemes.
Collaborate with internal teams to align business strategies with the goals and initiatives of card schemes.
Compliance and Standards:
Stay abreast of industry regulations, standards, and compliance requirements related to card schemes.
Ensure the company's adherence to card scheme rules and guidelines.
Negotiation and Contract Management:
Lead negotiations with card schemes to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Manage contracts and agreements with card schemes, ensuring compliance and maximizing mutual benefits.
Innovation and Product Development:
Work closely with product development teams to understand and incorporate new features and innovations promoted by card schemes.
Drive the integration of emerging technologies and industry trends into our payment solutions.
Issue Resolution:
Act as the primary point of contact for issue resolution between the company and card schemes.
Proactively address and resolve any challenges or disputes in collaboration with relevant internal teams.
Market Intelligence:
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and changes in card scheme policies.
Provide insights and recommendations to leadership based on market intelligence
Attributes:

Strategic thinker with the ability to align business objectives with card scheme goals.
Proven ability to manage escalations, resolve disputes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Experience:
Proven experience in card scheme relations, preferably in a leadership role.
