Job Summary:
Raytheon is seeking an experienced professional with a strong and proven successful background in Supply Chain Management to fill a critical Material Program Manager (MPM) role supporting the Patriot Performance Based Logistic (PBL) Product Line.
As an MPM, you’re a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving program objectives in a matrix environment and able to successfully interface with functional and program leadership. You’re able to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
In this highly visible role, you’re a member of the Patriot PBL Line, as the Supply Chain PBL Lead. You will interface with Patriot PBL programs and liaison with all CBT functions across all Patriot Product lines (PPL) to achieve your goals on PBL. You’ll create and execute Material Product Strategies (MPS) and the Material Product Plans (MPP) to ensure the execution of products and programs from the front end of the business through contract closure. You will be responsible for supporting maintaining continuous operations on PBL manufacturing scope and ensuring all PBL goals are met for material needs. Material management of demand and supply will core the responsibility ensuring on time delivery material and end product in support of PBL requirements. Responsibilities also include Estimate at Completion (EAC’s), proactive procurement strategies, management of AOP, and program metrics across contracts. Significant autonomy comes with his role in managing day to day activities.
This position is a hybrid role, and the selected applicant will work with the hiring manager to set schedule. Please note on site participation, Andover and Tewksbury facilities, will be required at times and applicate will be expected to be on site when necessary if applicant is in a remote and hybrid role .
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Communicate and translate customer and product requirements to suppliers; Conduct supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity, and risk.
Monitor and communicate supply chain performance metrics and proactively act to address program, product, and functional issues impacting kit availability, on-time delivery to MRP, and on-hold purchase requisitions.
Support recurring supplier, program, and IPT Reviews including visibility of procurement plans and escalation of supply chain issues.
Develop and execute Risk & Opportunity (R&O) and Sales plans to meet Annual Operating Plan (AOP) & program responsibilities; Proactively manage mitigation plans.
Managing budgets for all buy parts and supply chain labor in support of the Estimate at Completion (EAC) process.
Support prime proposals and program start-up including developing and executing Material Product Strategies (MPS) and Plans (MPP)
Ability to obtain MPM certification within 1 year of hire.
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with high proficiency with MRP systems and tools , specifically PRISM and KINAXIS,
Must be a self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program objectives, and able to interface with all levels of internal management as well as supplier management .
Excellent time management skills and the ability to assign the appropriate priorities to the many tasks they will be required to perform.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), leadership abilities, and the ability to work in an IPT environment.
Experience with Risk and Opportunity (R&O) Management, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and/or proposals.
Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Business, Finance, Management, Engineering, Supply Chain or similar.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
