The Impact You'll Make in this RoleThe Patient Support Specialist is often seen as the main point of contact by customers and patients we interact with daily. The role will focus on the patient transition as they move through the care continuum. As integral part of the team, working collaboratively with both internal and external partners to ensure a smooth transition from hospital to home. The role will primarily work in the hospital setting but will also have responsibility for traveling to LTACs (Long Term Acute Care), SNFs (Skilled Nursing Facilities) Wound Care Centers, and Physician Offices to support the patient journey.

Developing and managing relationships with Doctors, Discharge Planners, Case Managers, and others involved in the VAC Therapy process.Driving sales and revenue by leveraging current and new customer relationships in assigned territory.Presenting and reinforcing our value proposition that differentiates our solutions from competitive offerings.Working collaboratively with the Surgical Acute Account Manager to identify opportunities and achieve financial and strategic goals of our customers.Company Vehicle
This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position. A current and valid divers license is required.
Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND two (2) years of experience with Medical Device and/or Business-to-Business sales in a private, public, government or military environmentOR
High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND six (6) years of experience with Medical Device and/or Business-to-Business sales in a private, public, government or military environmentIn addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
Current, valid Driver's License.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

The expected compensation range for this position is $97,783 - $119,512, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
