Job Description
The Patient Ambassador Visits with inpatients daily to proactively assess patient satisfaction with ARAMARK Support Services departments. Listens to and responds to patient concerns. Acts as point of contact for patient feedback in the areas of Food, Room, Personal Issues, and Overall Survey sections. Communicates with unit staff and Support Services leadership regarding patient feedback and needs. Performs and coordinates a variety of duties related to correspondence, reports, maintaining files, and conducting special projects as assigned. Demonstrates active, personal, daily involvement, visibility, open-mindedness and professionalism to patients, support services staff, internal, and external customers. Works effectively in a team environment to achieve set goals. Committed to enhancing individual patient satisfaction and patient satisfaction scores.

Job Responsibilities
Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service attitude toward patients and client and customers, coworkers. Utilizes a variety of methods to help respond to and meet patient needs. ? Visits with patients daily to assess satisfaction with room cleanliness, meals, room environment, and courtesy. ? Implements service recovery interventions where appropriate. Follows up with customer to ensure that their needs have been met. ? Efficiently logs and categorizes all contact with patients and provides written reports for patient visits using Microsoft Office programs. Communicates patient-need findings with appropriate members of Support Services leadership team and Nursing. ? Uses effective scripting when entering patient room, interacting with patient, and exiting the patient room. ? Assists Director with patient satisfaction-related projects. Leads and organizes projects as assigned. ? Demonstrates good judgment; recognizes and reports errors made in the course of one?s performance and shows accountabilities for all actions. ? Filing/Maintaining Records ? Copying/Faxing ? This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) ? Performs other duties as needed or assigned as work is expected to vary with changing needs and priorities. Management may revise duties/schedule at any time. ? Adheres to all established systems and training programs to provide a safe working environment. Complies with all OSHA regulations and other local, state and federal regulations. ? Maintains compliance with ARAMARK?s standards of operation, client and within ARAMARK?s Business Conduct Policy. Maintains all records and reports necessary to regulations and codes. ? Qualifications
? Previous healthcare-related experience desired
? Three to five years customer service experience preferred
Must have the ability to work independently with limited supervision
Ability to work well under time constraints
? Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
? Maintains friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients and co-workers
? Adaptable to guest needs
