About Patient Access Lead

  POSITION SUMMARY: The Patient Access Lead will work in a collaborative manner with department management to implement and attain goals of the department. This position is responsible for staff scheduling, onboarding functions, including interview assistance, new employee training and performance monitoring via various methods including work queue review. The Patient Lead will be responsible for providing follow-up training to new employees and additional training of existing employees. The Patient Lead will provide support to management by completing straightforward tasks such as maintenance of supervisory work queues, weekly review of registration guarantor identity changes, expired patient ambulance run entry and weekly corporate communication distribution. Work Schedule: Days, flexible hours plus every other weekend Sa & Su 7-3pm week 1 M - 8 hours, Tu - 4 hours, W -4 hours, F - 6 hours (22 hours) week 2 M - 8 hours, Tu - 4 hours, W -4 hours, F - 6 hours, Sa 8 hours, Su 8 hours (38 hours) Required Qualification: High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 3 years Epic experience ED Patient Registration experience Excellent confidentiality skills Strong customer service and interpersonal skills required to communicate effectively, including human relations sensitivity, listening and telephone etiquette skills High attention to detail Preferred Qualification: Higher Education Experience with Grand Central (ADT) and Prelude Supervisory, lead or super user experience Staff scheduling experience.
