　　This job was posted by https://www.arjoblink.arkansas.gov : For moreinformation, please see: https://www.arjoblink.arkansas.gov/jobs/4072885The Patient Access Associate is responsible for the registration ofinpatients, outpatients, and emergency room patients in a competent andefficient manner; obtains required demographic and financial data inorder to create an accurate patient chart; verifies insurance coverage;and collects patient deposits when necessary; effectively interacts withpatients, significant others, and other healthcare members whilemaintaining standards of professionalism. The Switchboard Operator isresponsible for answering all incoming calls to the switchboard;transfers calls to the appropriate department or person; maintains theon-call lists for various departments and physicians; directs patientsand/or visitors to various locations throughout the hospital; performsoverhead paging and beeping as needed.
