What You’ll Be Doing
Cadmus seeks a part-time technical editor to join our existing Energy Services editing team. The ideal candidate is an experienced technical editor who is detail-oriented and able to work flexibly under deadlines.

Responsibilities
Edit and improve style and clarity of technical reports, proposals, and other business documents
Work with authors and project managers to improve content and strategize on work-flow
Ensure style and brand guidelines are followed
Ensure formatting consistency
Work with the team to update and improve the look and feel of the Cadmus brand as it is represented in our written materials
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or related field
Excellent capabilities with MS Word (style sheets, formatting, troubleshooting)
Minimum of five years of experience in editing and streamlining large, multi-author documents
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under rolling deadlines
Familiarity with AP Stylebook and The Chicago Manual of Style
Experience with Adobe Products, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic and flexible setting
Ability to follow, adapt documents to in-house or client style guide
Preferred Qualifications:
Background or understanding of energy/environmental/utilities industries
Experience in consulting environments
Additional Information:
Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S Perm Resident or U.S. Citizen.
Based on eligibility and job status, Cadmus offers an excellent benefits package to include: medical, dental, vision, company paid disability and life insurance, 401(k) program, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, voluntary time off (VTO), tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance program, other optional benefits and various bonus programs.
The minimum hourly rate for this position is $35. The actual hourly rate may be higher and will be determined by several factors, including relevant work experience, education, skills, and market competitiveness.
