Required Qualifications
high school diploma or its equivalent be at least 20 years old be able to work nights be able to work weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time knowledge of the operation of a parts room have a valid drivers license and authorization to drive a company vehicle (on or before his or her start date in the position) ability to obtain certification and operate powered industrial equipment be able to lift a minimum of 65 pounds successfully complete the following tests (before his or her start date in the position) Basic Office Skills Following Written Instructions and Matching - Alphanumeric working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel be able to read, write and solve math problems be able to read and interpret schematics, and technical and parts manuals be able to interpret, understand, and follow instructions be capable of generating and processing work on a computerized maintenance-management system be able to multi-task and work independently with little or no supervision ability to handle confidential information have the ability to work well with others and be a team member show enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work and show commitment to Publix's mission.
Preferred Qualifications
current Boynton Beach Distribution associate Associate's degree in Business 3 years of prior experience in an industrial parts room environment or inventory related experience knowledge of the operation of a parts room in an industrial setting knowledge of basic accounting principles and statistical data analysis

Other Compensation Information
Weekend premium pay: $2 per hour weekend premium pay is available
Year End Bonus
To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November.
In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week's pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check.
In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks' pay.
