Job Summary
The Partner Strategist- Cisco is responsible for the overall investment strategy and execution plan for Cisco across all Cisco Sales segments. The Partner Strategist- Cisco will help develop and execute investment proposals and initiatives to maximize the multiple funding RTMs Cisco offers. This role will assist with virtual and in-market demand generation and networking events.
The Partner Strategist- Cisco will represent the company and ensure cohesion with internal teams and the respective partner to fuel Market (GTM) activities and demand generation while aligning to both parties’ overall business initiatives.
The Partner Strategist- Cisco's goal is to partner with the Marketing, Sales & Services organization and work through the entire sales motion to advocate for the company’s mission and vision while ensuring we meet our commitment to customers. Overall success is measured against partner revenue attainment, growth of partner portfolio, and coordination of strategic GTM priorities.
This position will report to the Manager of Partner Strategy - PPSS department.

Responsibilities
Include but not limited to:
Manage the creation and implementation of a Partner Marketing Plan jointly with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) partner, including programs and incentives
Provide leadership, mentorship, training, and guidance to the team and the OEM Partner
Take the lead for audit clarification requests or escalations by providing additional proof of performance or other needed documentation
Manage and support quarterly marketing planned activities such as demand generation, training events, and customer/Sales appreciation events, helping to coordinate between our company and Partner
Present OEM Marketing budget and plan to SHI leadership during Quarterly Business Reviews
Help create and manage quarterly budgets with partners following partner program parameters
Assisted marketing in logistics and coordination surrounding partner-funded events for sales and customers, e.g., audio/video prep before the event, budgeting costs of the event, execution of the event payment, and setting up proposed speakers schedules.
Manage to obtain Proof of Performance/Return on Investment information based on an outlined program of the partner to validate spending, e.g., tracking deal registrations, number of leads from an event, number of customers attended, and orders placed.
Responsible for submitting activities either directly to the partner via email or through partner portals for approvals and maintaining compliance with audit requirements as set forth by the partner
Support financing and billing processes set by the Partner’s Marketing Program with Marketing and Accounting for compliance
Assist with content creation for company newsletters, blogs, and customer-facing communications
Responsible for assisting with Spiff/Sales Incentive data submissions and in preparation of analyzing spiff/sales incentive data from BI reports
Responsible in assisting with the documentation of existing and future tasks and workflows that are maintained on SHI’ shared collaboration sites
Support in identifying and improving any/all existing inefficient processes
Help maintain and develop internal company Partner documents, sales training, and sales tools
Create scorecards to update partners and management on plan execution progress
Continue to track marketing activity ROI after execution for detailed historical data on activities
Works closely with Growth Marketing, SHE Events, and the digital graphic design teams
Identify target accounts develop and execute plans to create opportunities while collaborating with internal Sales and Partner Leadership to obtain their approvals
Maintain pipeline and dashboards that communicate to our company Sales Leadership the effectiveness of identified programs and investments for assigned partners
Enable internal Sellers to identify opportunities by driving awareness of new products, solutions, use cases, and promotions
Actively report Return on Investment (ROI) and success stories to maximize achievements
Coordinate with the Learning & Development team to develop training activities based on planned campaigns and coordination of activities across the enablement and execution of those plays with all business segments
Qualifications
Completed Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 2 years of experience in managing programs, activities or initiatives
Minimum 2 years in planning, monitoring, and reporting progress on programs
Demonstrable proof of producing measurable results of influenced revenue through channel partners
Minimum 2 years experience in Business Partner programs and operations
Minimum 2 years experience with internal tools such as BI and CRM
Minimum 2 years experience in managing programs, activities, or initiatives
Proven track record of exceeding goals
Knowledge of the assigned partners’ industry at a local market, national and global level

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $50,000 - $130,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
