Are you passionate about helping Independent Software Vendors (ISV) build differentiated solutions and drive customer awareness and adoption?
As a Partner Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS), you are responsible for the technology, strategy, and senior level relationships with ISVs. You will be creating and driving the technical strategy with a group of assigned ISV partners, taking the lead on go-to-market products built-on and/or integrated with AWS. With your partners, you will craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that provide solutions to solve customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services. In collaboration with your team at AWS, you will drive revenue growth through customer adoption of partner solutions on AWS. As a trusted partner advocate, you will have the opportunity to help shape and build mindshare to broaden use of AWS.
Key job responsibilities
Work with partners to deeply understand their business and technical needs.
Driving product integrations between partner offerings and AWS services or develop solutions that make the best use of AWS services
Be able to develop proof-of-concepts for solutions involving AWS services, with deep understanding of best-practice knowledge.
Collaborate with business counterparts, service teams, marketing, and other teams within AWS to ensure partner success.
Evangelize AWS Services and ISV solutions that benefit customers. Deliver thought leadership through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public speaking events such as AWS Summit and AWS re:Invent.
Act as technical liaison between partners and the service engineering teams, providing product improvement feedback to AWS developers and accelerating the adoption of new features in customer deployments.
This position can be based anywhere listed below, but San Francisco, CA and Seattle, WA are preferred.

A day in the life
Meeting partner product managers and engineering teams to discuss use cases and co-innovation.
Building and testing a Proof of Concept (PoC) or a code sample.
Writing a blog post or white paper. Co-presenting with partners at industry or AWS events.
Spending time learning new AWS services or consuming technical news about the latest happenings in the market and software community.

Basic Qualifications
2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $105,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $204,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
