Job Description - MPGS Global Product Partnerships, Manager
The Payment Gateway team is responsible for the Mastercard Payment Gateway Product. This product is an essential part of Mastercard's acceptance strategy and supports:
• Acceleration of Mastercard's digital payments agenda and the enablement of new flows using our ecommerce focused technology
• Expanding Mastercard's reach by providing direct relationships to merchants while deepening relationships with acquirers across sectors and geographies
• Driving enablement of Mastercard solutions across our merchant and acquirer partners that facilitate seamless user experiences
• Solving acceptance needs through enabling and/or distributing products and solutions more quickly into the ecosystem on behalf of wider Mastercard solutions.
The MPGS Partnerships Manager as part of the Product Strategy & Commercialize team will help drive the evolution of the MPGS product proposition through the development and execution of our partnership strategy. The partnership team are a key pillar of the MPGS growth and innovation agenda, working closely with global and regional stakeholders to deliver market-leading capability to our customers and revenue opportunities through partners.
Role :
Key member of the Mastercard Gateway Partnerships team responsible for end-to-end management of a number of partner relationships
Integral part of all aspects of the partnership team
• Work closely with the Partnerships Lead to collaborate with regional and global product teams to support required functionality and support the value proposition across different markets.
• Own end to end management of key global partner relationships to ensure efficient running including commercial negotiations, go-to-market plans, reporting and presenting to key stakeholders
• Maintain good partner communications & relationship management while continually working to improve performance and identify additional growth opportunities.
• Work with internal partners to help drive the successful implementation as well as maintenance of existing partnerships
• Understand the market, aligning with overall gateway strategy to identify new partner opportunities that deliver product and/or commercial opportunities
• Integral to the review, documentation & identification of improvements to current partnership engagement & management frameworks.
• Build and maintain relationships with Regional Product teams to understand the sales pipeline through partnerships, driving quicker time to market
• Collaborate with internal partners to ensure alignment of partnership roadmaps
All About You
• Experience in working effectively with global, cross-functional teams
• Experience with payments products, financial services and/or product development
• Solid technical background with understanding of technology and payment platforms
• Understanding of partner integration & relationship/partner management desirable.
• Experience in product development is a plus, but not required
• Self-starter and delivery focused, actively collaboratives and shares best practice
• Stakeholder manager with the ability to build relationships internally & externally
