Job Summary
The Partner Manager is assigned to one or multiple Partners. The role drives strategy and execution to increase NetApp's Products and Services sales, achieve sales targets and influence Partner preference towards NetApp.
The essential responsibilities of the Partner Manager are to work directly with Partners to capture sales opportunities, and to work effectively across functions with other NetApp employees and NetApp Distributors. Your focus is on several identified Partners.
Essential Functions:
Develop and maintain a multi-year sales strategy and business plan for assigned Partner accountsManage the executive engagement between the partner and corresponding parts of the NetApp sales organizationDrive and support Partner to develop services practices and specializationsInfluence Partner preference towards NetApp and increases penetration and Share Of WalletOrchestrates enablement of Partner sales and technical teams in line with Program requirements and Solutions GTMHelp Partners get the right readiness to drive solution and services salesActivate and run company initiatives and programs at PartnersDrive Partner forecast accuracy and overall healthImplement continues Installed Base expansion and retention strategies and tacticsCollaborate with Partner's and NetApp Commercial team (CTR/CAM) to develop Partner Driven Commercial businessCollaborate with enterprise account teams and Partner to create and execute pursuitsCoordinate tactical activities to support bookings
Job Requirements
Fluent in German & English (C1-C2 level)Strong verbal and written communications skills including presentation skills.Preferably with initial experience in sales of highly technical solutions, solution sales or consulting. Understanding of IT technology is helpfulAn aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.Preferably knowledge of two-tier commercial sales in ITAbility to work collaboratively with employees within the sales function and across functions including Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, and Product Development
Education
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.• A Bachelor of Arts of Sciences Degree; or related field is preferred.
