Minimum EducationHigh School Diploma/GED.
Minimum ExperienceSix (6) months of related station, ramp, hub or safety experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of shipping or processing dangerous goods packages stronglypreferred. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weightabove 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from anotherperson. Ability to complete all basic and re-currency training for DangerousGoods. If required to perform the spill clean-up function. Must complete allbasic and re-currency training for spill clean-up. Must be able to read andunderstand manuals, regulations, charts and tables, andeffectively communicate verbally In a time-sensitive manner in a noisyoperationsenvironment. Current DG certification preferred. Experience with computer,i.e.,mainframe, PC, internet/intranet preferred.
Job ConditionsNon-covered safety sensitive position; Ability to work in a constant stateof alertness and in a safe manner. If required to drive company vehicles ormotorizedconveyances as a regular part of job, must possess valid drivers license.
