Paralegal/Property Administrator:
Provides substantive procedural and legal work in support of the Real EstateTeam working in conjunction with our Assistant General Counsels for RealEstate. Responsibilities would include reviewing and providing leaseinterpretations; resolving landlord/tenant disputes, drafting letters tolandlords regarding lease obligations; and drafting and reviewing otherancillary real estate-related agreements. Our world-class real estate legalteam (known as the "Openers") supports every aspect of managingDaVita's real estate portfolio (known as Team Genesis).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but are not limited to):Review leases and provide lease interpretations;Communicate and interact with other legal and operations teammates, accountsreceivable and external parties relating to the projects handled by the RealEstate Team;Draft and prepare letters to landlords regarding lease obligations,reimbursements and landlord performance; monitor completion of theseprojects and provide assistance throughout various points of the project;Maintain poise and stability regarding time limits and ongoing deadlines;Resolves landlord/tenant disputesActive participation in the development and implementation of best practicesand proceduresInteract with a broad range of internal and external professionals toaccomplish tasks and goals and meeting deadlines;Work with inside and outside attorneys in various supporting functions;Ability to multi-task and assist in the development and implementation of bestpractices and procedures;Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed or required;Know, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies,and department or company procedures;Consistent, regular, punctual attendance as scheduled is an essentialresponsibility of this position;Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills;Ability to prepare and present clear and concise letters;Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QualificationsAssociate's degree or Paralegal certificate or Bachelor's degree andrelated work experience. Candidates who are currently pursuing a Paralegalcertificate or Bachelor's degree should also apply.4 years minimum experience preferably in an organization with a large,multi-jurisdictional real estate portfolio or, alternatively, a strongproperty administration background.
