Above all, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.Primary ResponsibilitiesHDR is looking for a Food & Beverage Lead to join our Industrial Team in our Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia Area. The ideal candidate for this position will be based in or near: Pittsburgh or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania or Columbus, Ohio office but other applicants throughout the three states will be considered. The primary duties of this role are to direct, develop, market and deliver projects involving the planning, design and construction administration of food & beverage industry opportunities. The Food and Beverage Lead will serve as a Senior Project Manager for Industrial projects across HDR's portfolio.In addition, this person will be expected to drive client relationships, and lead the overall growth of HDR's Food & Beverage practice through new client establishment and extension of services with existing clients throughout PA, OH and WV. The Food & Beverage Practice Lead must possess and maintain knowledge of the regions trending business environment for multiple market segments including general food processing, dairy, meat & poultry, grain, beverage, packaging and related agribusiness. The person should have experience with one or more of the following:
*Industrial water / wastewater process engineering and design experience.*Design of Industrial Systems in Food, Beverage and/or Consumer Products Facilities (Packaging/conveyance/assembly/manufacturing)*Experienced with Food, Beverage and/or Consumer Products Industrial Facility design and construction.
Specific responsibilities:Direct project staff and lead projects as a project manager and be involved in marketing and planning of proposals.Provide project and task management; conduct difficult to complex process engineering for both projects and proposals; collect, assimilate and present data in reports; and lead preparation of engineering plans and specifications for design of industrial facilities including water and wastewater treatment.Experience with design/build and/or EPC project delivery is desirable.Possess strong oral and written communication and listening skills including good leadership and organizational skills.Experienced in developing and implementing client engagement and client management planning, with Sector and regional leadership, to define and drive strategies for growing business with key clients.*LI-MP1QualificationsRequired QualificationsBS degree in Architectural, Construction or Engineering related field10 years of related experienceExcellent writing and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.Proven track record of sales in the A/E industry.Planning & Budgeting experience.Staff management, mentoring and general leadership skillsPreferred Qualifications
