The Industrial Painter performs duties necessary to maintain in good repair equipment such as bins, cribs, counters, benches, partitions and doors. Work area may include clean rooms, garages, offices, restrooms, mechanical rooms. Coatings will range from latex, oil based, acrylic, and epoxy floor coverings. Position will use a wide array of painting tools, including thin and thick brushes, and rollers.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Apply and maintain paint, varnishes, and stains
Remove and mix paint
Demonstrate a working knowledge of surface preparation for concrete, masonry, primed and unprimed ferrous metals, including rust removal.
Recognize and protect unpaintable surfaces.
Perform all types of coating applications in a team-oriented environment.
Has ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted.
Exhibits attention to detail and has ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED is preferred.
Must be authorized to work in the US.
Must be 18 years or older.
At least 2 years of commercial or industrial painting experience.
Basic computer skills.
Experience painting with rollers and brushes.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, kneel, and crouch. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
