  Our Engineers support internal and external manufacturing operations remain operational, continuously improve and innovate. With our extensive range of facilities and environments, our Engineers have opportunities across many diverse areas including Biological, Chemical, Automation, Capital Projects, Maintenance, Safety, Process Development, Technical Services, Utilities and Validation.

  The automation engineer will be responsible for day-to-day operations support activities, in a GMP environment, including but not limited to the following technologies:

  Systech, or other serialization or aggregation software, Allen Bradly PLC, OPC, ASI/Field/Profibus and other related technologies.

  Networking, Virtual Machines, Database management and other general IT administration.

  Responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, identifying trends, process monitoring, system administration, update documentation, querying data, operator training and participating in deviation investigations.

  Must be able to communicate clearly (oral and in writing) and frequently with operations and other support groups.

  Engineers are also expected to provide off-site weekend/evening automation phone or on-site support.

  Candidate will also be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and closing-out change controls for automation related corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

  Minimum Education Requirement:

  High School Diploma required.Required Skills and Experience:

  Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in packaging, automation, labeling or similar area in GMP regulated industry.

  General STEM background or experience.

  Strong Computational Skills, with experience in a highly digital environment.

  Uses data to drive decisions, and looks to add new sources of data to help inform manufacturing trends

  Strong Communication, willingness to learn and adapt and ability to work in a high demand team setting.

  Preferred Skills and Experience:

  Systech, or other serialization or aggregation software, Allen Bradly PLC, OPC, ASI/Field/Profibus experience.

  Exposure to Packaging Equipment.

  Experience working with Visual Inspection.

  U.S. Hybrid Work Model
