Overview
The Application Integration Platforms mission is to build the commercial, technical, architectural, and operational frameworks that will allow the Bank to operate successfully and securely. Platform as a Service (PaaS) is the strategic application hosting platform of the Bank and hosts more than 50% of the Bank's workloads. You will be responsible for the delivery of on-premises and public-cloud based Platform as a Service using third party vendor solutions that leverage Docker and Kubernetes. It will provide on-demand access to technology services needed to build, host, and manage bank applications using a variety of infrastructure solutions. You will need a strong knowledge of Linux, Containers, Ansible, and OpenShift technologies to fill this role.

What You'll Do
Production support of PaaS infrastructure which includes incident, change, problem management, with a focus on maintaining the platform is secure and stable
Collaborate with engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams to host containerized workloads using above technologies in the standardized, governed, and bank-approved manner
Work closely with various vendors and internal teams, to ensure compliance with technology roadmap and security requirements on application, infrastructure, and operating system level
Enhanced operational activities with trouble shooting and resolving issues requiring system functional knowledge and advanced knowledge of the underlying technologies being supported
Automate manual interactions with our systems. Define and implement self-healing and self-management for the platforms
Maintain and improve our observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Thanos, and Splunk, while ensuring continuity of service through capacity planning, game days, chaos engineering
Skills You'll Need
Strong working experience of Linux, Containers, Ansible like configuration/automation tools, and OpenShift technologies as well as experience with monitoring stack like Grafana and Prometheus will be handy in daily activities
Good understanding and basic programming skills in Python, Ansible, and Go is preferred
Work experience in operations, infrastructure models with strong troubleshooting skills including basic networking knowledge, and experience of operating/programming for OpenShift or Kubernetes (Exposure to middleware technologies like WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat is preferred)
Strong knowledge and experience with ITIL process is required to perform BAU activities
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Bachelor's degree/BSc in Computer Science or a related technical discipline background
Experience of application deployment in Unix/Linux environments, ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence and GIT, as well as experience with logging and analytic technologies such as Splunk
RedHat OpenShift certification
Any experience with Google Cloud Platform is an added advantage
Strong support/troubleshooting skills, ability to operate on their own accord, and work together in a global team with a strong worth ethic and communication skills
