  Job Description

  As an Associate Engineer at Olsson, you will be an integral part of our Utility Transmission and Distribution team, working on a variety of electrical engineering projects. This entry-level position focuses on developing your skills in electrical distribution, transmission , substation design, and protection and control systems. You will support senior engineers in all project phases, from planning to construction administration, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.

  Responsibilities:

  Assist in the design and analysis of power delivery systems, primarily in overhead distribution lines and systems.

  Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project development.

  Participate in site visits and field inspections.

  Prepare technical reports and documentation.

  Engage in continuous learning and professional development.

  We have one current opening and will consider candidates interested in being located out of our Omaha, Lincoln, North Kansas City, Overland Park, Joplin, or Fayetteville office location.

  Qualifications

  Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

  Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

  A minimum of one year of engineering experience.

  Engineer Intern certificate (EI).

  Experience with PLS – CADD and/or O - Calc preferred.
