Your Mission
As an Outsource Supervisor you will support the vision of the Character Team set forth by Art Leads and Art Directors by managing and creating a variety of Character Assets, including Weapons, Armors, Pets, Creatures, Mounts, and more!
You will be responsible for organizing information, creating briefs, building relationships, maintaining documentation, upholding standard processes and technical standards, and ensuring quality control through individual contributions and by guiding external partners. They use their artistic experience as a Character Artist to manage and create original Concepts, Sculptures, Models, Hand-Painted Textures, Unique Materials/FX, and Animation; with a keen ability to traverse technical challenges and maintain quality.
Remote eligible:
This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Albany, NY or Irvine, CA. However, we understand each person's circumstances may be unique and will work with you to explore other possible options, including remote work arrangements.

Drive outsource development by scheduling and tracking incoming/outgoing assets
Support strong relationships with both external partners and internal teams
Maintain and improve outsource pipeline and standard processes
Generate detailed documentation, visual reference, and examples of art asset production, procedures, and technical requirements
Prototype and create block-out assets that fit within the World of Warcraft style
Provide clear and timely feedback through paint overs, asset adjustments, and written guidance
Minimum Requirements
3+ years of experience as a Character Artist creating assets such as Creatures, Characters, Armor, and Weapons
Understanding of real-time game development needs
Experience with or interest in working with Outsourcing
You are organized, have great follow-through, are hard-working, and a team player
You have an affinity for learning and the ability to manage challenges
You demonstrate clear and concise communication, leadership, and people skills
Software experience: 3dsMax or Maya, and Photoshop

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $80,800.00 - $149,400.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role's range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
