As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be the point person on keyaccounts. We will count on you to service these key accounts and solicit newbusiness to maximize profitability. You will position QED as the primarysupplier of electrical supplies by delivering exceptional customer service,communication, and solutions.Essential Functions:Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs andrecommending QED's value-added services and programs tailored to theirbusiness objectivesParticipate in training sessions and sales meetingsWork actively with key suppliers to develop business with new and existingcustomersImplement strategy to increase sales and profits from key accountsDeliver presentations on new products, answer questions on products andCompany servicesDevelop and maintain technical knowledge of company products and supplierofferings, application features, advantages, and benefitsMeet or exceed annual sales and profit budgets working with new andestablished customers
Minimum work experience requirements:Through previous background and experience, the candidate must be able todemonstrate, with or without an accommodation:
4 year degree preferred4-5 years of experience in sales preferredAbility to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals,professional journals and technical procedures.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from smallgroups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Ability to perform math functions representative of the job such as;addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units ofmeasure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and metricscales; computing rate, ratio, and percentages and to draw and interpretbar graphs; calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest,commissions, and proportions.Possess in depth knowledge of QED computer systems, Microsoft Office, etc.Must be a team player and abide by QED's strong core values and beliefs.Strong ability to negotiate and be persuasiveCan work independently and collaborativelyA metric-oriented, competitive attitudeDefine long term objectives while maintaining the ability to adjust tochanging situationsStarting wage: $70,000 - $100,000Associate Benefits:
