Come join a winning team at Intel. The AMHS (Automated Material Handling System) is an essential component of the factory. AMHS manages the storage and transportation of wafers and reticles in a cleanroom environment. The Arizona AMHS team provides services to the Ocotillo campus, comprising Fab 12, 22, 32, and 42, and is currently expanding to include Fab 52. The successful candidate in this role will perform the following but not limited to:
Perform electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems with down equipment used in manufacturing.Dismantle, adjust, repair, install and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, and rough sketches or drawings.Perform setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance (PMs) on production equipment and coordinates with suppliers for service and repairs where needed.Monitor and analyzes all related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address all tool/module-related issues.Create reports of system failures, updates existing specs, and creates new specs that support overall equipment maintenance/performance.Work with Module Engineering to execute experiments and equipment configuration changes, supports data collection activities, and generally completes tasks per published procedures.Assist Engineering with troubleshooting through data analysis and controlled experimentation that will meet or improve module availability and performance targets, preventing future excursions.
During factory ramps, work with module engineering and construction teams to ensure tools are installed and/or converted per designs. This position will require you to work one of the 4 CWW (Compressed Work Week) 12-hour shifts. Start times are 05:30 AM for day shifts and 05:30 PM for night shifts. The role requires a technician to stand and walk extended periods of time and travel in the assigned Fab (factory) to provide additional support, if needed.
Qualifications

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your work experience, military technical training, pursuit of an undergraduate degree, or relevant internship experiences.
Minimum Education Required
The candidate must have a High School Diploma/equivalent (with 2+ years of experience) -OR- an associate degree in Electronics, Mechanical, or a related field of study -OR- equivalent military training and experience -AND-:
Minimum Qualifications
2+ years' experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.2+ years' experience in dismantle, repair, and assembly of equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with mechanical systems including robotic drives, actuators and microcontrollers.Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.Experience with electro-Mechanical maintenance and repair.Experience with semiconductor equipment maintenance and repair.Clean-room experience.
