Overview
In this role, you will be a member of Deutsche Bank's Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) Primary franchise within the Asset-Backed Securities team, reporting to the Head of US CLO Primary. The remit of the US CLO Primary team encompasses a broad range of sectors, including broadly syndicated CLOs, middle market CLOs, venture/recurring revenue securitizations, infrastructure CLOs and certain other collateralized corporate debt securitizations.This role will have responsibility for managing all aspects of the structuring and execution of new issue CLO transactions, from initial pitch stage through to closing settlement and execution, including establishing warehouses, supervising portfolio analysis, cash flow modeling, capital structure tranching and optimization, preparing marketing material, responding to investor diligence requests, obtaining the target tranche ratings, negotiating legal documentation and facilitating settlement and execution. In such role, you will interact with a wide variety of stakeholders, both internally and externally, requiring strong communication skills, both written and oral.

What You'll Do
Develop and cultivate a broad network of direct relationships with both issuers and investors across the wide spectrum of the CLO Primary team's productsInteract with a broad range of internal and external transaction participants, including asset manager clients, prospective investors, secondary trading, sales and research colleagues, rating agencies, internal risk management functions, trustees, collateral administrators, corporate service providers, legal counsels and regulatory, tax and accounting expertsLeading the establishment and negotiation of warehouse facilities; obtaining internal transaction approvals from risk management functions, including credit, legal, regulatory, and accounting; determining capital structure tranching and optimization; assisting with preparation of marketing materialResponding to investor due diligence requests; liaising with rating agencies to obtain the target tranche ratingsReviewing and negotiating legal transaction documentation; performing market research and analyticsExternal representation of the Deutsche Bank CLO franchise on industry panels and conferences
How You'll Lead
Managing all structuring and execution aspects for certain transactions within the Deutsche Bank's US CLO Primary sphere - this includes a broad range of products, encompassing broadly syndicated CLOs, middle market CLOs, venture/recurring revenue securitizations, infrastructure CLOs, environmental, social, governance CLOs and certain other corporate debt securitizationsSupervising monitoring and reporting on warehouse risk exposure; supervising portfolio analysisSupervising cash flow modeling and scenario analysis; supervising closing settlement and execution

Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $190K to $300K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
