As an Organizational Development Consultant, you will lead efforts such as performance management, leadership development, and engagement programs to grow the capabilities of The Post employees across all levels and parts of the company. The role reports to the HR Director, Talent Development and Culture.

Advance the culture of achievement and growth by leading performance management process, including setting goals, providing feedback, and performance evaluations.Support the mission and business needs of The Post by managing and facilitating existing development programs (e.g., interview training, goal setting, inclusive leadership, etc.).Meet The Post's emergent training needs by designing and implementing just-in-time development options.Build relationships and support employees by offering ad-hoc coaching.Serve as a member of the larger HR team on projects as needed.Adopt and modernize all programs continuously to adjust to and capitalize on the evolving environment, including organizational changes, industry shifts, external events, technological advancements, etc.Required Qualifications:At least 4 years of solid OD experience, building and managing programs based on adult learning concepts.A bachelor's degree in OD, HR, Marketing, or Business.Demonstrated ability to design developmental content (trainings, presentations, written content, etc.) using adult learning principles.Strong grasp of all talent management processes, including performance management, training, employee engagement & retention, change management, hiring and compensation fundamentals, etc.Skilled presenter, facilitator and communicatorDemonstrated ability to drive change in a complex organization.Preferred qualifications: Graduate degree in human resources, business, adult education or related field.Strong power-points skills and design sensibility.Good grasp of marketing and branding principles.Wherever you are in your life or career, The Washington Post offers comprehensive and inclusive benefits for every step of your journey:Competitive medical, dental and vision coverageCompany-paid pension and 401(k) matchThree weeks of vacation and up to three weeks of paid sick leaveNine paid holidays and two personal days20 weeks paid parental leave for any new parentRobust mental health resourcesBackup care and caregiver concierge servicesGender affirming servicesPet insuranceFree Post digital subscriptionLeadership and career development programsBenefits may vary based on the job, full-time or part-time schedule, location, and collectively bargained status.
