Overview
POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Oracle Apps. Database Administrator III will a work hybrid schedule, and must be available to work onsite at our state of art Innovation and Manufacturing facility in Winston-Salem, NC at least 2-3 days per week and more if needed and will able to work some from home also. Responsible for supporting Oracle EBusiness Suite and Oracle Databases. Database Administrators typically are involved in maintenance, enhancement, designing of data dictionaries, physical and logical database models, and performance tuning. Database Administrators are also responsible for understanding, configuring, and managing database administration tools
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Level III
• Expertise in Oracle EBusiness 12.2.x administration and operations support
• Proficiency in Oracle EBusiness 12.2.x activities - Cloning, ADOP patching, ADOP edition cleanup
• Configuration of Oracle EBusiness Suite High Availability Concurrent Processing
• Review and periodic test PCP failover
• Proficiency in Workflow Mailer configuration with cloud based MS Outlook
• Experience with EBusiness Suite Workflow
• Analysis of EBusiness Application, CPU patches
• Experience in EBusiness Suite upgrades
• Proficient in EBusiness Suite advanced configurations – SSL, SSO
• Knowledge of Weblogic Administration
• Hands on experience in installation/configuration/administration of Oracle CRS, Database, ASM - 19c versions and above
• Patching of Oracle CRS, Database, ASM stack
• Experience of working with multitenant databases
• Experience in cloning - user managed, RMAN
• Experience in upgrading Oracle stacks
• Knowledge of Database Security - Database Vault, other security products
• Installation/configuration of OEM and OEM agents to monitor Oracle stack
• Database space management
• Experience in Database encryption (TDE), Compression
• Proficiency in automation of administration tasks
• Hands on experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Experience in GoldenGate replication
• Experience with Oracle DataGuard, setting up Busincess Continuity
• Implements database security and auditing features and periodic reviews
• Conducts root cause analysis for repeated incidents
• Provides database support for business applications
• Flexibility with working in shifts and on-call support over weekends
• Support projects, initiatives of organazation, security needs
• Work with different stakeholders - infrastructure, application teams
• Reviews Information Protection compliance reports and notifications for individual databases and internal processes (including compliance updates and compliance set ups)
• Researches new technologies to address operations reliability and compliance
Bonus
• Knowledge of OBIEE, ODI administration
• Knowledge of Atlas Mongo, Kafka, Apigee administration

Required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail, and excels operating in a fast-paced technical environment
• Ability to solve problems, identify solutions, and appropriately escalate issues
• Expertise in administration of Oracle EBusiness Suite, Oracle RDBMS, Oracle RAC, OEM, Weblogic, GoldenGate
• Proficiency in database architecture, logical and physical design, documentation, installs, shell scripting, programming (e.g., PL/SQL), query tuning, system tuning, automation, backup and recovery, standby
Experience:
Level III
• 5+ years experience in oracle databases
Education:
Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
