The Currencies, Commodities and Derivatives Operations (CCDO) team perform end to end trade control, confirmation and settlements processes across FICC businesses and provides utility OTC derivative confirmation and settlement services for non FICC businesses.
Within CCDO, the teams provide multiple services such as FICC trade control, Foreign Exchange (FX) electronic matching and settlement, Over the Counter (OTC) Derivative confirmation and settlement, and Commodities operations.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an associate to join the Global Markets Core Operations Change team based in New York. The team supports the Global Markets Core Operations teams who manage the OTC Derivatives, FX and Commodities Confirmations and Settlements functions.

Responsibilities:
Collaborating with a wide variety of Operational and Technology stakeholders in order to drive and implement change.Interrogating components of Over-The-Counter Derivatives Operational processes (Confirmations and Settlement) in order to identify opportunities for improvement.Driving the implementation of the opportunities for improvement in Post Trading Operational functions like Confirmation, Settlement, Trade Control.Applying an entrepreneurial & innovative mindset and setting the standard as a culture carrier for the organization.Actively seeking new opportunities for change/improvements by analyzing, challenging and remediating processes, controls and behaviors relating to the CCDO Confirmations and Settlement processes.Driving market-wide projects which have captured the focus of senior management.Actively influencing changes in client behavior leading to a reduction in risk and cost and increase in efficiency.Providing functional support to users across multiple asset classes, helping set best practices and reinforce process standards.
Required Skills:

Enterprise Role Overview:
Subject matter expert with at least 3 year's experience in current role. Analyzes and resolves complex operational problems. Provides technical support to the team and consults on a wide variety of topics across functional and business support lines. Knows front to back process/system flow. Strong product and market knowledge. Acts as a lead on multiple projects/initiatives on behalf of the team. Drives process improvements. Acts s Go To person for the other team. Acts as Go To person for the manager, performing some routine management support (interviewing, training & support for team members). Develops and delivers training for the team. Understands client needs, escalates issues appropriately (timely and appropriately). Proactively identifies risk. To be used for employees in Global Markets only.
