Operations & Academic Services Administrative Assistant
The department of Classroom and Continuing Education Enrolled Student Services (CCEESS) is seeking an administrative assistant to directly support the CCEESS director and associate director. This position assists in organizing course data, providing faculty support, and coordinating with academic departments. They are responsible for operations management, working with facilities and security at the BYU Salt Lake Center, acting as the Center's liaison with entities using or providing service to the Center, managing Center inventories of equipment and supplies, and working as the compliance officer. They also coordinate special events and projects. This position is based in Salt Lake at the BYU Salt Lake Center; some work may be done remotely on a limited basis.

Required
A firm commitment to the mission of BYU.2 years of office experience, and some experience with event planning and scheduling. Preferred
Bachelor's degree.4+ years' office experience working in an academic setting. Experience at BYU and understanding its structure, leadership, and policies. Experience with facilities operations, safety, emergency preparedness. Experience with BYU-specific computer systems and software.Skills, abilities, knowledge, licenses, certifications:
Computer proficiency using Microsoft Office software packages.Customer service skills.Organizational and time management skills, including prioritizing work, multitasking, and meeting deadlines.Interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)Maturity and professionalism.Habit of looking forward and planning strategically.Ability to maintain confidentiality.Problem-solving skills.Attention to detail.Familiarity with Tableau.What we offer in return:
