  CO Salary Range: USD 79,000.00 - 108,000.00 per year

  Northrup Grumman Innovation Systems, Space Systems Group - Integrated Operations Directorate is looking for Operations Training Curriculum Designer/Trainers to join the Integrated Operations Training Department team. Curriculum designers create, manage, and maintain training products that will be delivered to customers in support of mission operations. As a curriculum designer, the selected candidate will be required to design and develop training material to support automated scenarios, mission exercises and certification check rides for the customer and internal operations personnel. Other responsibilities include working with the Mission/Systems Leads to identify training needs and develop training plans and curriculum such as reference guides and evaluation tools. The Curriculum Designer(s)/Trainers will also work with mission operations personnel to ensure training curriculum and scenarios accurately represent current operational documentation used during on-orbit checkout and commissioning of satellites as well as during execution of primary mission(s).

  Product deliveries include: Lesson Plans, PowerPoint Presentations, Training Videos, Hands-on Training Scenarios, Test/Quizzes, Student Guides, Training Plans, and other training material as necessary to support contractual training requirements.

  Must work collaboratively in a team environment across engineering disciplines to accomplish mission goals. Must excel in a fast-paced mission focused environment. Must be able to meet rapid development timelines.

  Specific experience and responsibilities shall include:Developing training material IAW Instructional System Design processesDeliver training to customers in support of instructor led training eventsOperating training simulators/systems in support of training activitiesOn-Console Satellite Command and Control operations experienceGround System anomaly troubleshooting and resolution experienceRendezvous and Proximity Operations (RPO) experienceMS Office Suite products experienceBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in STEM field preferredTop Secret clearance and SSBI / SCI eligible required 2 years of Space Operations/Training experienceU.S. citizenDesired:Web/video based training development experienceLesson plan development experienceSimulation/scenario development experienceTest/Quiz development experienceExperience utilizing training development tools such as Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, Storyline 360, etc.Mission Planning and Orbital Analyst ExperienceAdvanced Orbital Mechanics knowledge and experienceSalary Range: $79,000 - $108,000

  The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

  Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
