Northrup Grumman Innovation Systems, Space Systems Group - Integrated Operations Directorate is looking for Curriculum Designer/Instructors to join the Integrated Operations Training Department team. Curriculum designers create, manage, and maintain training products that will be delivered to customers in support of mission operations. As a curriculum designer/instructor, the selected candidate will be required to design and develop training material to support automated scenarios, mission exercises and certification check rides for the customer and internal operations personnel. The position may require the candidate to execute classroom instruction and scenario training in the mission simulator. Other responsibilities include working with the Mission/Systems Leads to identify training needs and develop training plans and curriculum such as reference guides and evaluation tools. The Curriculum Designer/Instructor will also work with mission operations personnel to ensure training curriculum and scenarios accurately represent current operational documentation used during on-orbit checkout, satellite commissioning, and execution of the primary mission. S/he may also be required to interface with program and customer personnel regularly in support of training events.
As a curriculum designer-instructor, applicants will be responsible for ensuring training products are consistent with department standards by developing, reviewing, and approving training products within the training department. Applicants may be asked to support multiple programs to ensure standardization across the spectrum of missions the Integrated Operations Training Department manages.
Candidates will work with Training Leads and Deputy Training Leads to ensure curriculum is developed and delivered in accordance with contract requirements and timelines.
Product deliveries include: Lesson Plans, PowerPoint Presentations, Training Videos, Hands-on Training Scenarios, Test/Quizzes, Student Guides, Training Plans, and other training material as necessary to support contractual training requirements.
Must work collaboratively in a team environment across engineering disciplines to accomplish mission goals. Must excel in a fast-paced mission focused environment. Must be able to meet rapid development timelines.
Specific experience and responsibilities shall include:Developing training material IAW Instructional System Design and ADDIEDeliver training to customers in support of instructor led training eventsOperating training simulators/systems in support of training activitiesOn-Console Command and Control Satellite Operations experienceGround System anomaly troubleshooting and resolution experienceRendezvous and Proximity Operations (RPO) experienceMission Planning and Orbital Analysis experienceExperience w/ MS Office Suite productsThis position can be filled as a level 3 or level 4 depending on experience and qualifications.

Salary Range 2: $115,000 - $160,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
