Team / division overview
The Aladdin Platform Management ("APM") is a team of four people in different locations - Frankfurt, Berlin and Jacksonville.
DWS uses BlackRock Solutions' ("BRS") "Aladdin" system as the central platform for all its portfolios. A streamlined global setup of Portfolio Groups, UserGroups and user access rights is the key to use the solid application at acceptable operational risk levels and to ensure compliance with DWS standards.
Role Details
As an Operations Specialist, you will (be):
Support Aladdin users with new account creation and permission amendments.
Point of contact for communication with BRS regarding user access related topics.
Daily oversight of user access-related changes (First Line of Defense).
Monitoring of critical user setup and activities not in line with the Segregation of Duties (SoD) principles. Includes control measures for toxic combinations of user permission assignments and monitoring of transaction corrections, amendments, and cancellations (CCA), as a regulatory requirement.
Prepare and moderate the weekly User Access Clearing Board (UACB) meeting, a forum for discussing and ratifying Aladdin user access topics.
Allocation of Aladdin costs to DWS legal entities.
We are looking for
Economics degree, bank training or equivalent qualification.
Proactive and self-organized work attitude, ability to work self-reliantly.
Excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills.
Good to very good English language skills in writing and communication.
Advanced skills and efficient use of MS Office tools, especially Excel. VBA skills would be ideal, but not mandatory.
Basic knowledge of our product line preferred.
