About Operations Software Engineer (Starlink)

Operations Software Engineer (Starlink) at SpaceX

Bastrop, TX

SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.

OPERATIONS SOFTWARE ENGINEER (STARLINK)

We are looking for a talented engineer to help design processes and systems for a factory that will output millions of user terminals (a SpaceX designed and manufactured product that consumers will have in their homes to access our network).

The success of Starlink depends on the quality, reliability, cost, manufacturability, throughput, and security of the products that we deliver. Expertise in designing software systems

Familiarity working in a high-volume manufacturing production environment

Deep understanding of testing, continuous integration, build, deployment monitoring

Expertise in profiling and improving application performance

Front-end experience in Angular, React, or similar JavaScript framework

Database experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar database technologies

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to work extended hours, some nights and/or weekends when needed

Must be able to travel - up to 5-15% work week travel may be required to other SpaceX facilities
