Job Description:
This role is responsible for providing moderately complex research, reporting and analytical support for the delivery of end-to-end support for Global Markets sales, trading and underwriting business for securities, foreign exchange, fixed income, exchange traded derivatives and over-the-counter derivatives across multiple lines of business. Duties are carried out under general supervision, following established procedures. These individuals may assist more experienced teammates.
Global Markets Shared Operations (GMSO) Fees and Billing team have an exciting opportunity available for a talented individual to work in a dynamic and growing billing team. The Global Fees and Billing team are responsible for managing a wide variety third party billing across Global Markets. The Billing team provide billing services across product which provides our talented group with opportunities to partner with senior stakeholders across the Front-Line Unit, COO group, Finance, Vendor Managers, Senior Operations Management as well as many others.
Candidates will have responsibility for reconciliation of specific settlement flows and products for the Exchange-Traded Derivatives (ETD) lines of business. The successful candidate will assist the ETD Receivable teams in Chicago whilst also working to ensure that a robust control framework is in place and that the process is run in a risk controlled environment. The successful candidate will drive process improvement opportunities, new process integration, regulatory reform or any other associated initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Maintains accuracy of client portfolio using internal and external comparison toolsPerforms research and conducts moderately complex analyses using established techniques; including transactions that require special handling and/or exception handlingExplores methods to enhance processes, further reduce risks and boost client experiencePartners with colleagues on the trade and sales support teams, as well as external agentsCreates reports; may liaise with internal partners to ensure proper client reporting and assist with regulatory reportingEscalates potential risks and exposures to manager in a timely mannerMay assist in ad-hoc projects, new processes or initiatives requiring coordination among subject matter experts representing multiple product areas or functionsManaging ETD client invoicing, communications and queries.Timely response to client queries regarding the settlement of their invoicesEnsure books and records are updated after our monthly processEstablish good working relationships internally with the technology,Ensure accurate daily reporting on controlsDevelop and maintain procedures.Ensure compliance with target control standards.Provide internal and external training where required.
