Job Description:
This role is responsible for providing analytical support in a Global Markets operations function for one or more operations product areas. These individuals are responsible for the analysis and resolution of highly complex operations problems and initiatives requiring exceptional handling and/or coordination of multiple operational and/or product specialists to resolve. They may manage projects and/or the introduction of new initiatives, systems, products/services and processes and coordinate necessary expertise across multiple operations functions and/or products.
The AMRS Transformation Team is responsible for partnering with the AMRS Asset Services Senior Leadership team, Global Market Operations Technology and Asset Services team members to implement strategic and complex initiatives relating to all aspects of the corporate action, dividends, coupons and proxy processes. The associate will have the responsibility for executing and driving the AMRS Asset Services Operations strategic continuous improvement, and metrics initiatives in order to enable automation, drive operational excellence and reduce risk for the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Confirms loan documentation for accurate trade settlements
• Partners with Sales Associates, Traders, Research Analysts, trading counterparties, internal and external attorneys, administrative agent banks, and various other internal operations groups
• Manages post-trade management and logistics, settlement pricing and closing coordination
• Analyses and resolves highly complex operational problems
• Supports ad hoc projects for new processes or industry initiatives
• Processes loans end-to-end with accurate data input into various credit and operating systems
• Understand operational and risk inefficiencies in asset services processes and propose strategic technology and process enhancement driven solutions for root causes identified.
• Lead and contribute to the formulation of business requirements for proposed changes.
• Ensure effective UAT testing of changes, work with technology to ensure appropriate release and provide post-production support to wider organization as needed.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, change management organization and Global Markets technology to ensure effective execution and accountability for results.
• Effectively communicate the AMRS Asset Services operational excellence portfolio to a broad set of internal audiences to build consensus.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational, project management and leadership skills to ensure output of the highest quality across multiple, concurrent projects.
• Translate complex ideas and concepts into easy-to-understand and engaging content that enables efficient decision-making and productive discussions.
• Promote a culture of operational excellence.
