As part of the Net Zero Operations team, you will have an enormous impact on supporting the global financial sector's work to stop climate change and ensuring that financing and capital allocation decisions occur in ways that enable the world to reach net zero by 2050 in line with the objectives of the Paris Agreement.
The Net Zero Operations Manager will serve as a key role supporting the NZDPU (Net-Zero Data Public Utility) Head of Product in all aspects of planning and strategy, delivery of the product to market, and ongoing support and operations. Working closely with colleagues across the business, the operations manager supports the key strategies of the business by ensuring alignment, facilitating effective collaboration, and creating transparency and accountability for execution.
We'll trust you to:
Provide close, hands-on support to the NZDPU (Net-Zero Data Public Utility) Product and Data teams, working with Engineering and other relevant ancillary teams to optimize product delivery and operationsProvide ongoing transparency and serve as a point of coordination and accountability to NZDPU leadership ensuring alignment to business priorities at all timesSupport decision-making with data-driven insights Manage critical projects to successful outcomes on behalf of the NZDPU Head of Product Identify execution gaps and effectively build and manage actionable plan, multi-task and manage an evolving set of business prioritiesBuild key relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across the program and remove obstacles while obtaining stakeholder buy-in and driving implementationDetermine specific priorities for assigned projects and develop key performance-based metrics to assess project health.
How you will make an impact as the Operations Manager:
Provide detailed project plans and project management/governance across the entire life of a technology project by coordinating with relevant internal departments and third-party vendorsEstablish product operations and user support processesForm relationships with internal and external partners to understand their business needs; build consensus and strategies to deliver on those needsProactively lead changes in project scope, identify, assess potential risks and devise contingency plans to address unforeseen challengesEffectively communicate progress and success to partners in compelling, creative, and accessible waysEvaluate and enhance team processes and procedures to increase efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and improve overall productivityDevelop and deliver project status reports, maintain project related information for future reference and knowledge transfer.
You'll need to have
7 + years of experience in project management, process optimization, team leadership and building and project managing outsourcing strategies for a department/product3+ years of recent experience in resource or vendor operations, including experience leading vendor teams and/or contract workers, ensuring they meet contractual obligations and contribute effectively to project goalsDemonstrated understanding of financial markets and key climate and net zero themesShown expertise in developing and implementing support processes, ensuring timely issue resolution, and maintaining high customer satisfactionProven knowledge of relevant support tools and technologies, as well as the ability to analyze and improve support metrics, are essential.

Experience establishing strong credibility and building influential relationships with multiple internal and external clients, vendors and partnersDemonstrated experience in using a creative and flexible approach to problem-solving, aided by data analysisAbility to thrive in a frequently changing environmentExceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Professional level proficiency in additional languages strongly preferred. The ability to be a self-starter that fosters collaboration and builds on a strong culture of teamworkStrong project management and time management skills and able to take multiple projects to completionMaster's degree in, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Economics, Public Policy, Engineering, Mathematics, MBA, or related field preferred/CFA or CAIA designationCertified Project Management Professional (PMP)Experience with or exposure to Agile product developmentExperience with using JIRA for planning and trackingPrevious work experience with the Bloomberg Terminal.
