The Operations Manager - Legal (LOM) will report to and serve as the right hand of the Head of Legal & Compliance US and will have a dotted line to the Head of Legal Operations and Strategy Execution. Responsibilities include executing operational activities and strategic projects, operational management for the US Legal & Compliance (USL&C) Department, working closely with ASML's Netherland's based Headquarters' Legal Operations Team and the USL&C Team. The LOM will drive efficiencies and implement strategies in areas of knowledge management, technology, budget oversight, vendor management, initiatives and priorities to enableUSL&C to operate optimally. This position requires excellent communication skills, organization, attention to detail, and keen judgment for prioritization and execution in a fast-paced environment.
Role and responsibilitiesScale and implement operations programs including strategies, technology, projects, initiatives and priorities for the US Legal & Compliance (USL&C) Department.Assist in strategic planning and execution, including developing priorities, KPI's, andimprovements.Oversee the Team's technology usage, creation, storage, and management and sharing of information.Compile and analyze data to enable informed decision-making and identify improvement opportunities.Manage Team's recruiting, hiring and initiatives on developing and retaining talent.Manage meetings, and be responsible for meeting agenda, planning, preparation, and follow-up.Manage outside-counsel and vendors, including service level agreements, fees, performance review, and spendings.Prepare and implement the budget, including budgeting, forecasting and spend analytics.Lead in the preparation of significant presentations. Education and experienceBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experienceMinimum 7 years of experience in an operational roleProject Management skills and experience a plusPower Point mastery a plus
