About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to build a new business in one of the world's largest taxi markets. If you want an exciting challenge and you want to know that you are making a big difference then we want to hear from you!
At UT, we ignite opportunity by setting the world in motion. We are taking on big problems to change the way that people move around South Korea. We welcome people from all backgrounds who have the curiosity, passion and collaborative spirit to help change the future of mobility.
As a Manager in the Operations team you will use data to solve business problems. Today, in over 100 cities across South Korea millions of riders are already interacting with hundreds of thousands of drivers. Yet the opportunity for improvement is almost endless. You will help our users move by improving the efficiency of the interactions between riders and drivers. And you will do this by solving the most critical issues of our marketplace. How can you get a rider from point A to point B as seamlessly as possible? How can you help a driver to be in the right place at the right time to increase their earnings? How can you use prices as a lever to improve reliability in the marketplace? These are the sorts of problems you will solve.
You will work on a broad range of topics. Specific projects you may be involved in include launching new products, expanding into new geos, improving the user experience, coordinating with marketing to launch stunts and access new channels to acquire new riders.
You will analyse complex issues, develop practical solutions, communicate your insights to our business leaders, partner with multiple business and technical stakeholders, and deliver changes for immediate business impact. You will have end-to-end responsibility for the design, execution and management of your projects. Your work will have real-world impact, instantly changing the way that people get around cities.
