JOB REQUIREMENTS: About the Role: The Operations Manager has theresponsibility to manage the operational and fiscal activities of theshop floor operation. Plans and develops systems to improve theoperating quality and efficiency of the operation. Leads staff inaccordance with company policies and procedures. Coaches and developshis/her staff and associates. Must be able to handle a wide range ofroles and responsibilities across different functions of the operation.Must be able to make good decisions on working with various aspects ofall operations, including materials, maintenance, and quality. Must beable to communicate with internal sales and external customers. YourResponsibilities: Responsible for all operational activities within theassigned area or facilities Plans and develops systems and procedures toimprove the quality and efficiency of the assigned area ofresponsibility Analyzes and documents business processes and problems(continuous improvement). Uses Lean manufacturing principles to developsolutions to reduce or optimize operational cost.
