Summary
Our New York City Brokerage team is looking for an experienced and solutions-orientated Operations Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for developing and managing brokerage support professionals and will work closely with the executive leadership team to run the business and implement strategic initiatives. This position will partner with our Managing Director of Brokerage to support our Office Leasing and Retail service lines and implement and enhance our Early Career Development Program.
The ideal candidate is highly strategic, growth/business orientated, has proven ability to influence at a leadership level, keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities. Key responsibilities
Build strong trusted relationships with the executive leadership team, brokerage professionals, colleagues and reportsOptimize operating processes and creatively solve problems to ensure the business operates in an efficient and effective mannerLead and support critical projects based on emergent business needsProvide formal leadership, mentoring and supervision to administrative and brokerage support professionalsLead performance management, employee coaching and counseling in partnership with our People PartnerAssist in the enhancement and implementation of our Early Career Development program for our Associate Brokerage Professionals and provide operational support to our Managing Director of Office Leasing and Retail Services.Organize, assist, oversee and lead internal meetings and eventsWork with the Director of Operations on projects and business continuity issuesResponsible for partnering with talent acquisition on all recruiting and onboardingManage the employee experience, including onboarding of new hires, preparing space and equipment etc.Manage offboarding of brokerage professionals and support employeesManage broker licenses, and educational requirements and follow up on any delinquencies or upcoming actions requiredCoordinate office moves and confirm seating plans with the Facilities team, working in conjunction with IT, and managementEnsure corporate standards and internal company processes and systems are leveraged and adhered toCoordinate support for our Brokerage professionals In the absence of a Broker Support Professional role, perform administrative duties such as concierge support, booking travel, answering phones, managing conference spaces, receiving guests, cleaning kitchens and conference spaces, collecting and distributing mail, submitting maintenance requests etc.

Background and Experience
Demonstrated experience should include:
Bachelor's degree required3+ years of managerial experience required3+ years of operational or project management experience3+ years of executive level support experience preferred

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $100,300.00 - $118,000.00
