The Operations Coordinator provides support to various departments in Operations. The position is responsible for the accurate, timely, and safe handling of incoming and outgoing inventory for Returns, B-Stock, Liquidation, Customer-Owned-Inventory (COI), Life Cycle Management (LMC), Buy & Hold (B&H), and providing administrative support for Shipping.
Key Areas of Responsibility Provide administrative support to various functions in the Distribution Center. Process all daily inventory and forward to designated areas: restock, vendor returns, B-Stock, installs, and customer refusals. Work with TSM, Sales and Shipping when changing freight options on orders to meet customer and operational needs. Inspect and test hardware for cosmetic and functional defects. Send product with operating system to repair if under warranty. Match specifications to the appropriate part and model numbers for desktops, laptops, servers and related peripheral devices to AS400 and SPS platform. Collaborate with the Account Manager on missing parts, enrolled or locked units to increase our recovery and prevent items going to scrap. Process Customer Owned Inventory same day and communicate all discrepancies to appropriate stakeholders. Process Buy & Hold orders within a 48-hour timeframe to meet customer deadlines. Collaborate with Inventory Control to ensure stock discrepancies are resolved to maintain a high level of inventory accuracy. Provide order status updates to Sales as needed. Release and sort batches hourly to meet customer and carrier deadlines. Move pallets using a pallet jack or Material Handling Equipment (MHE). Follow Preferred Methods and Safety Guidelines. Rotate throughout the Returns and Mailroom departments performing various functions including housekeeping. Assist other areas of Operations including cross-department functions, for training and operational purposes. Education and/or Experience Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Previous general warehouse experience.
Required Qualifications Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Solid time management skills and attention to detail. History of balancing competing priorities with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines. Solid verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment which includes changes in temperature as the weather fluctuates, noise from conveyors and forklifts. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (team-lift for anything above 50 lbs.). Ability to perform 8 or more hours of standing, bending, lifting, walking, and carrying products in combination at any given time.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with AS400 and SPS. MHE certified.
