Job Description:

　　POSITION SUMMARY

　　Three rotation co-op position. Co-op to provide manufacturing and supply chain support, including fixture and process design, qualification, and improvement for new product introduction and existing product sustaining. Supports manufacturing plant and supply chain performance analysis. Rotational project variety and expected independence, autonomy, and project ownership to increase with each rotation. Day-to-day tasks will be varied by current need and co-op will be working on meaningful/impactful work.

　　PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBLITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

　　Engineering support for the launch of new products

　　Manufacturing performance analysis and development of related process improvements

　　EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

　　Mechanical Engineering

　　Industrial Engineering

　　Biomedical Engineering

　　Materials Science & Engineering

　　2nd year or more advanced in degree required

　　TECHNICAL SKILLS

　　Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar modeling software

　　Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

　　Experience reading engineering drawings preferred

　　Capable of conducting calculations and understanding engineering concepts

　　Manufacturing experience preferred

　　COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS

　　Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals.

　　Ability to respond to common inquiries.

　　Ability to communicate effectively.
