The Operations Analysis Manager is responsible for partnering with Business Intelligence in developing new reporting, data strategies and models to support Operations business objectives, such as operating hours, labor management, showtime scheduling, inventory management, and other Operations KPI's. In addition, this role will be charged with updating and communicating reports with metrics that will be utilized to show theatre performance and to identify areas that may need improvement.
The main duties of an Operations Analysis Manager include:
Reporting and Data Strategy
Develop and implement analytics strategies, frameworks, and methodologies to support Operations business objectives and decision making in partnership with Finance and Business Intelligence.Develop training to ensure field leaders are proficient in reviewing reports, identifying wins/opportunities, and building action plans to future research/track results.Partner with Business Intelligence on the collection, processing, analysis, and visualization of large and complex data sets from multiple sources and platforms.Create and maintain dashboards, reports and presentations that communicate key findings, trends, and opportunities to Operations field leaders and senior management.Partner with Business Intelligence and Finance to evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methods to enhance the analytics capabilities and efficiency of the organization.
Decision and Execution Support
Provide regular and ad hoc analysis, reporting, and communication.Collaborate with cross-functional teams identify, define, and solve business problems using analytical techniques and tools.Identify and spread best operating practices as well as pursue course correction for underperforming theatres.Partner with key stakeholders, including Film, Marketing, Business Intelligence, and Finance teams, to effectively support initiatives and execution.Act as gatekeeper for new report requests, ensuring each report contributes to the field leader toolset and is incorporated into the training program.
To be successful as an Operations Analysis Manager, you should have:
A bachelor's degree or higher in operations research, statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or a related field.7+ years of experience in analytics, data science, business intelligence or a similar role, preferably in an operations or supply chain context.SQL query construction - Expert Level - 5+ Years.Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar.Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with ability to complex data and reporting to business leadership.Track record of driving process simplification and improvement.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Curious, independent, and proactive thinker with demonstrated record of providing strategic insight and approaching management with original views on how to improve the business using data driven analysis.
