Your role
As Operational Team Head you are covering all TPRM related activities and initiatives in the Americas. Your strong skills around leading teams and projects, managing stakeholder and representing TPRM will be crucial to ensure the firm's regulatory compliance in the Americas.
Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Analyze the Americas regulatory development in relation to third party risk management and outsourcing.
• Prepare the quarterly TPRM Americas Forum and management report.
• Prepare, coordinate and conduct TPRM-related regulatory interactions, manage internal audits and thematic reviews.
• Work in global collaboration, syndicate, communicate relevant policy changes with senior stakeholders.
• Manage day-to-day business activities within TPRM Americas: problem solving, issue management/escalation and communications.
• Work with internal TPRM Partners in 1st, 2nd and 3rd line of defense (e.g., Supply Chain, Compliance, Internal Audit, ...) on special requirements or issues.
• Communicate actively within and across teams and work to streamline and improve reporting.
• Manage front-to-back issues to ensure a high degree of operational effectiveness and efficiency.

Your team
The Americas TPRM team is responsible for the implementation and support of the TPRM framework, processes and management. This is a diverse role covering elements of banking supervision, governance, strategy, analytics, compliance, performance monitoring and process management.
You will be working in the US as Operational Team Head TPRM Americas, based in the tri-state area or Nashville. You will have a dual reporting line to the Head TPRM Americas Regulatory & Governance and the Global Head TPRM.
Your expertise
• A minimum of 10 years working experience, preferably in a similar role and/or regulatory, compliance and risk management or consulting position with a strong background in the financial services industry.
• Experience in interaction with local supervisors (e.g. FED, FDIC etc.) and in regulatory reporting; previous exposure to outsourcing, procurement and third party risk management requirements.
• Ability to identify and escalate issues of potential regulatory risk in a timely and succinct manner.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical personality with efficient communication style to support senior decision making.
• A leader mentality that is self-motivated and able to work independently.
