Job Description Summary
We have an exciting opportunity in our On-Wing Support(OWS) team based at Heathrow for an On Wing Support Planner. Reporting to The OWS Site Leader, you will work across a wide variety of customers, GE Aviation facilities and partners to plan all aspects of engine maintenance from job request through final billing.
This is a fundamental role within the GE On Wing Support team, which is a 24 / 7 / 365 operation supporting Airline Engine maintenance, throughout Europe and beyond.

Essential Responsibilities
Customer Facing representative for GE Aviation On Wing Support to liase and support the customer on existing contracts and any future help and support required.Working Directly with On Wing Support Engineers to ensure our on site or in the field requirements are met to ensure engines and customers turn times.Coordinate resources and tooling in order to effectively complete engine repairs in the shop or offsite locations throughout the worldCommunicate across multiple departments to effectively coordinate operations between manufacturing, project and product support teamsWork with Operational Leadership & Material Logistics coordinators to ensure deliveries meet customers™ expectationsCommunicate with internal team and customers to ensure seamless service and work scope executionReview the SAP report and coordinate with Customer Service to ensure customers expectations are metSupport commercial team in quoting and managing of work scopes, parts logistics
Qualifications / Requirements:
Experience with Engine maintenance, trouble shooting, and assembly procedures.Engineering and/or technical backgroundAs GE On Wing Support is a 24 / 7 / 365 operation and you must be willing and able to support calls during off-hours when emergency situations arise, when Covering the Out of hours shift (one in three weeks).
Desired Skills / Experience:
Applicants will be familiar with quick-turn aircraft engine maintenance, repair and field services, operations of a FAR-145 Repair Station. Degree Level EducatedDemonstrated quality, compliance and customer satisfaction skillsExperience in repair of large commercial engines
