Role Overview:
In this role you will be responsible for the in-scope services for your area, including but not limited to, delivery operations support, issue management, innovation, and productivity improvements. You will continuously improve the service by working closely with on and offshore teams, identifying potential risks, resolving them through innovative tools and methodology and oversee the successful deployment with staff and stakeholders. As a recognized expert, you will leverage your extensive process/domain knowledge and expertise to increase efficiencies, quality, and lead in developing innovations and continuous improvement.
As an Sr Analyst you will be expected to:
· Operate as Subject Matter Expert and/or Functional leader, recognized as an Oil and Gas “guru”/expert in the mid and downstream application of process(s) specialism
· Work collaboratively with delivery teams and be able to articulate business issue(s) and analyze possible solutions with the appropriate analytical tools and methodologies
· Demonstrates an extended ability to think outside of the box and challenge convention
· Drive development within the expert community and DGEM deployment for Clients
· Display a thorough understanding of Capgemini, the way we do business, the technologies involved and industry best practices, processes & procedures, levering this knowledge to consistently provide commercial and operational benefit to Capgemini and our clients
· Have excellent knowledge of technological products and solutions available on the market and has strong awareness of their strengths and weaknesses to drive the innovation of new products and processes
· Be a leader and “Influencer” in the further development of the functionality of process specialism via technical knowledge, capabilities and attitude
· Lead the analysis of complex information in a manner that conveys the salient facts in a clear, unambiguous way to a variety of audiences
· Have deep understanding of business context for the analyzed data, can draw insights and makes relevant recommendations to drive process improvements
· Have excellent understanding of the business, its’s volatilities and the impact on organizational finances and service. Can read early warning signs, provide advice and demonstrates critical thinking associated with mitigating risks and issues.
· Drive innovation and the continuous improvement culture within the delivery team to drive productivity, offering commercial benefit and operational efficiency
· Ensure there is widespread understanding of the scope obligations within the team and scope extensions are properly managed
· Engage in client discussions, negotiations to drive profitable, quality services
· Encourage, support, and enable individuals, exploring new ways to engage them and help identify the greater contributions they can make to the business.
· Participate in recruiting efforts, evaluating candidates against organization / project needs and position/role demands
General Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
As a Sr Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting, building and managing teams to deliver high quality services within your area of expertise. Your main focus will be quality of service as well as driving the transformational agenda to improve efficiency and drive value. You engage, build and manage the Client relationship for areas of responsibility. You will focus on generation of new opportunities within your COE role to drive growth and process, technology and organizational transformation.
The responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
· Engage in and monitor end to end processes, its quality and timely execution, in particular:
o Work Finance and Accounting processes within your area of expertise including but not limited to Month-End functions, ongoing daily processes, supporting the interactions (and escalating if required) with Client’s Finance or Process Owners to ensure timely closure and reporting
o Help train and develop delivery staff within your areas of expertise and provide feedback where required
o Build skills and capabilities to support multiple clients as part the Oil and Gas Center of Excellence
o Work on transformational projects from design to implementation
o Monitoring and testing of financial controls, as per Client Controls Framework
· Analyze the operational reports from the area of expertise, review and amend the analytical insights and initiate appropriate actions with the Client in line with the preferred transformation agenda to drive higher efficiency, effectiveness, control and create more value
· Analyze the financial, management and statutory reporting, review and amend the analytical insights and initiate appropriate actions with the Client in line with the preferred transformation agenda to drive higher efficiency, effectiveness, control
· Interact with auditors if required
· Handling of queries and escalations from Client stakeholders
· Support, manage the process and delivery team through Process Health KPI lens and suggest the improvements impacting end to end processes and KPIs
Qualifications (Education/Experience/Certification):
· Minimum English at CEFR Grade C1 (Advanced) or equivalent
· F&A education
· Knowledge of Oil and Gas industry recommended practices, design methods and midstream and downstream processes around F&A
Recognized expert skills and knowledge of specific O&G process areas
