Receive, examine and account for incoming deliveries. Deliver supplies to the campus. Load, unload and otherwise physically handle deliveries. Check shipping document against purchase order and input quantities into a web based receiving portal. Occasionally operate a motor vehicle to pick up and deliver supplies. Occasionally operate a forklift. Maintain physical inventory and maintain records. Tagging of assets as they come into receiving and updating the PCS computer program or an excel spreadsheet. Handle surplus and disposal processes of equipment. Maintain inventory files. Correspond with departments to ensure proper inventory controls are in place. Perform yearly physical inventories. The location of this position would be in the Central Receiving area of the Physical Plant. Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
You must be on the Office Assistant 1 (Stores/Mail) Civil Service list or in a state Civil Service title that's eligible for transfer to this position. Applicants who do not meet this criteria will NOT be considered.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Good communication skills.
The ability to bend, lift and walk for extended periods of time.
