An OEM Alliance Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic partnerships within targeted OEM markets, selecting OEM customers and other technology providers. An OEM Alliance Manager works closely with the sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams of both Forcepoint and the partners to create and execute joint go-to-market plans, generate leads, and drive revenue growth. The role is responsible for developing OEM Accounts and is responsible for achieving sales growth and assigned OEM Account objectives. The Alliance Manager represents and cross sells the entire Forcepoint Product and services to assigned and developing new OEM accounts. This role will lead the OEM Account planning cycle and ensure assigned OEM accounts needs and expectations are met internally and externally. This role will report to the global leader of Channel Sales. This position may be in Northern, CA or remote within the Western United States.
Responsibilities:
Utilizes Forcepoint processes and resources to discover, develop and deliver long-term relationships and value to identified OEM Accounts.Establishes proactive, productive, and professional relationships within all levels of an assigned OEM Accounts, internationally as required.Coordinates the involvement of Forcepoint senior leadership, including support, service, and management resources, to meet and exceed the OEM account performance objectives and customers' expectations. International coordination of resources may be required based upon the account.Meets assigned targets for sales growth, sales volume, and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.Proactively leads an OEM Account Management Process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one-, three- and five-year period.Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates end customer needs on an ongoing basis.Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary Forcepoint and distribution sales channel, as required.Acquires assigned OEM Account targets, sales growth, and sales volume in potential and designated Accounts.Achieves within an OEM Account, objectives defined by company management.Completes OEM account plans that meet company standards.Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.Utilizes Forcepoint CRM programs and account tracking mythology.Enlists the support of other Forcepoint sales specialists, implementation resources, service resources, and other sales, financial, and management resources, as needed.Closely coordinates company executive involvement with end customer management.Works closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.Identify, evaluate, and recruit potential OEM partners that can enhance the company's product portfolio and market reach.Negotiate and manage contracts, agreements, and incentives with OEM partners.Coordinate and facilitate joint training, certification, and enablement programs for the sales and technical teams of both the company and the partners.Monitor and report on the performance, satisfaction, and feedback of OEM partners and customers.Maintain a strong and trusting relationship with OEM partners at all levels, from executives to engineers.
Experience:
Minimum 6+ years of Strategic Account, National Account, or OEM sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment. Experience network or security hardware or software products with a commercial/industrial application is preferred.Minimum 6+ years of technical sales experience.Technical end-user Sales experience.AWS experience preferred.Experience managing Enterprise level Complex Programs across various markets and technologies. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent certifications preferred. Experience in a company that has scaled or experience in both small and large software development organizations.Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software is a strong advantage.Skilled in MEDDPIC and executive selling methodologies.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to travel 50% domestic and international.
