We are seeking Nurse Supervisor (RN) to serve seniors with compassionate, quality care at one of Minnesota's leading nonprofit senior housing and service providers. Hours of Position: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (16 hours per pay period, working every other weekend and every other holiday) Benefits Opportunities for advancement -Grow a life-long career with Saint Therese! Saint Therese Location Information Saint Therese offers a continuum of care and services available in a person's own home or in one of our four Twin Cities communities: New Hope, Brooklyn Park, Shoreview, and Woodbury. Rooted in history, Saint Therese of New Hope is our largest community. This care center has 168 skilled nursing beds for long-term and transitional care. In addition, the Residence at Saint Therese of New Hope houses 225 independent apartments and suites for assisted living and memory care. Responsibilities Manages and supervises the activities of a shift. Acts as a resource in interpreting nursing policies and procedures and their application to residents and staff. Functions in the role of Director of Nursing Services in the absences of the DON and the ADON. Assigns staff to handle campus emergencies (Care Center) in the absence of administrative staff. Qualifications Current Minnesota RN Licensure in good standing Previous nursing experience is required. Previous supervisory experience required. Candidates must demonstrate experience, strong leadership in managing. Special knowledge, skills and abilities: Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal regulations Excellent communication skills written and verbal are essential.
